The Tri-Community Coalition is a non profit organization formed to prevent the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in our youth and over time in adults through education, community action and involvement, and the formation of drug-free life-style. The Tri-Community Coalition is made up of volunteers representing organizations in Berkley, Huntington Woods and Oak Park including businesses, government, places or worship, school districts, law enforcement, medical, homeowners and public and private agencies. The coalition works together to reduce substance abuse in local neighborhoods. We educate parents, students and other community members on the impact and prevention of substance abuse. We also develop youth activities to encourage positive drug-free behaviors.
