Art Fair Competition Registration
What:
An art fair competition sponsored by the Tri-Community Coalition to raise awareness about substance abuse prevention and addiction during National Drug Facts Week.
Why:
Scientific studies have proven addiction is a disease that affects the brain and behavior. Art about addiction and recovery can inspire dialogue, raise awareness, and can support scientific research on mental health and addiction.Eligibility:
All students in grades 6-12 in Oakland County are eligible to participate.Details:
Winners will be selected from two categories: high school and middle school. Winners will be featured on ACHCMI.org, as well as local coalition websites. Prizes, including gift cards and art supplies, will be awarded!

Submissions must be visual (painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography, etc.), and must be based on the theme of addiction or substance abuse prevention. An artist statement, 150 words or less, explaining what medium you used and what your work represents must be included with the submission. Important Dates:
- January 22nd: Submissions are due
- January 25th – January 31st: Winners announced and featured online!
- January 31st: Prizes awarded!
