The Tri-Community Coalition received a grant from the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities (ACHC) and the Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) to offer summer programing for youth. Five students from Berkley and Oak Park High Schools will be participating in Summer in the City for five days this summer where they will provide training and mentoring for at-risk elementary youth in the Del Rey neighborhood of Detroit, and will also participate in community development projects in Detroit.
The TCC is still accepting applications from high school-aged youth in Oak Park, Berkley, and Huntington Woods to participate. If you know of anyone interested, please forward them the information below.
